What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as your browser’s local storage, work in the same way. This website uses them only as described below.
What we use
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Type | Expires |
|---|---|---|---|---|
veroil-consent | Veroil Energy (this website) | Remembers whether you accepted or rejected Google Analytics, so we do not ask on every page | Local storage, strictly necessary | 6 months |
_ga | Google Analytics, set on our domain | Distinguishes visitors | Cookie, analytics, only with your consent | 13 months |
_ga_5GHCPL0JHK | Google Analytics, set on our domain | Keeps the state of your current visit | Cookie, analytics, only with your consent | 13 months |
Strictly necessary storage
The veroil-consent entry records only your choice and the date you made it. It is needed to remember your cookie choice, a service you asked for, so the law allows it without consent (Article 4a(4) of the Bulgarian Electronic Commerce Act). It is created only when you make a choice.
Google Analytics cookies
The _ga cookies are set only after you click “Accept”. They are stored on our domain, but the Google Analytics script reads them and sends the data to Google, which processes it on our behalf. Google signals and ad personalisation are switched off, so the data is not used for advertising.
Our Privacy policy explains what is collected, how long it is kept and where Google processes it.
Nothing else
We do not use advertising, social media or other third-party cookies. The fonts and images are served from the website’s own hosting, not from outside services such as Google Fonts, so viewing it contacts no other third party unless you accept Google Analytics.
Your choice
On your first visit, a banner lets you accept or reject Google Analytics with one click each. Nothing is stored until you choose, and if you ignore the banner or reject it, Google Analytics is not loaded.
You can change your choice at any time under , which is also at the bottom of every page. If you withdraw your consent, we stop Google Analytics and delete the _ga cookies from your browser.
We keep your choice for six months and then ask again. We will also ask again if we change the cookies we use.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking them does not affect how this website works.
