Tax warehouse
Our depot is a tax warehouse: a site licensed by the Customs Agency where fuel is held under excise duty suspension.
Excise duty is not charged while the fuel stays in the warehouse. It becomes due only when the fuel is released for consumption, so the duty is paid when the fuel goes to market, not while it is in storage.
Storing your fuel
We can also store your own fuel in the depot’s tanks. Ask us about available capacity and terms.
How the tax warehouse works
Held
While it is stored in the warehouse, no excise duty is due.
Released
Excise duty becomes due when the fuel is released for consumption.
